Pacifica Congress invites proposals, papers, and expressions of interest for our 2026 Family Law Forums: Leaders in Practice — a one-day intensive training and CPD series designed for practitioners, academics, and professionals working at the forefront of family law.
Building on the success of previous forums, this series brings together leaders in practice to share expertise, explore current issues, and provide practical tools for those navigating the ever-evolving family law landscape.
Each forum will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and skills-focused breakout sessions covering areas such as:
· High-conflict and complex parenting matters
· Family violence and trauma-informed practice
· Financial settlements and valuation issues
· Cross-border and cultural challenges in family law
· Interdisciplinary collaboration and wellbeing in practice
We welcome submissions from practitioners, researchers, and professionals who wish to present original work, innovative practice approaches, or interactive workshops.
Submission topics may include (but are not limited to):
· Emerging trends in dispute resolution
· Child-focused decision-making models
· Technology, AI and innovation in family law practice
· Judicial perspectives and policy development
To express interest or submit a paper, please email us here with the subject line “2026 Forum Proposal – [Your City]”.
Further submission guidelines and dates will be available soon.
We invite law firms, chambers, service providers, and educational partners to join us as sponsors. Sponsorship offers a valuable opportunity to showcase your commitment to professional excellence and connect with family law leaders across Australia and New Zealand.
