Podcast Highlights from Pacifica Congress Adelaide 2025 – Inside Family Law with Zoë Durand
Pacifica Congress is pleased to share an invitation to the official launch of Family Law 4 Kids — a new online toolkit designed to help children and young people understand and exercise their right to participate in family law processes when their parents separate.
Family Law 4 Kids has been co-designed with 41 children and young people aged 10 to 19 years from across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria — all of whom have experienced separation and engagement with the family law system. Their voices, ideas, and experiences have shaped a practical, accessible resource to support children’s meaningful involvement in family law decisions that affect them.
The Toolkit is a key outcome of the Children’s Participation in Family Law research project, led by Southern Cross University in collaboration with 54 Reasons (Save the Children Australia) and Youth Law Australia.
Date: Thursday, 23 October 2025
Time: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm (AEST) | 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (AEDT)
Location: Online Event
The launch will be opened by Australia’s National Children’s Commissioner, Anne Hollonds, followed by presentations from six of the young people who contributed to the design of the toolkit.
Join us in celebrating this important initiative empowering young voices in family law.
Please share this invitation widely among your networks — together, we can support greater participation, understanding, and inclusion for children in family law.
