Sally Nicholes is a leading Family Lawyer who focuses on all aspects of Family Law. Sally has particular expertise in international family law disputes, property cases involving complex corporate and trust structures, and disputes between parties to a same-sex relationship.  She has also had an extensive involvement in international issues concerning the wellbeing of children, particularly those with jurisdictional arguments and conflict of laws.

Sally is Deputy Chair of the World Congress on Family Law and Children’s Rights and represents World Congress at AFP/ACCCE meetings which focus on child protection, countering child exploitations and human trafficking.

Sally has extensive involvement in international child abduction matters, being rewarded with a Certificate of Appreciation by the United States National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and the Australian Federal Police for her work on an operation that resulted in the successful location of an abducted child.  

Sally an accredited independent children’s lawyer, a qualified collaborative lawyer, a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a AFLAM member and a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
